First Station: Palladium Café

Our first stop of cafe hopping in Johor Bahru is Palladium Cafe. It is located at a luxurious residential area- EcoWorld. The loctaion is far away from the hustle and bustle of city life which leads the cafe to bring out a laid-back vibe surrounded with greeneries. Besides that, the place has a nice setting which is suitable for taking photos. Cafes who have attractive interior or exterior designs tend to attract crowds easily,majoritarily, female customers. We would recommend people who are in search of a leisure time to come forward to Palladium Cafe.

Palladium Cafe goes by an eco environmental concept for the theme. The cafe uses potted plants and wood shipping pallets to enhance a greenery image. An environment which has lots of greenery can help to release stress and let the visitors to temporary space their minds and just chill.

The cafe has two sitting areas: outdoor and indoor. The indoor are is air-conditioned while the outdoor has none. It tends to get a bit warm in the afternoon but during the night, it is rather cool. It is a rather good place to chill as there will be a live band session playing away while you have a slice of cake or sipping an aromatic cupof coffee. The live band session is set to be on every Friday and Saturday from 8.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.

The service crews at the cafe are good as they are polite and as a bonus point, good looking! They serve coffees, desserts and snacks. We tried the coffee, Babyccino which was recommended by their waiter and cake of the day is Salted Caramel Hazelnut Cake. The Babyccino is more towards a milky taste for a coffee beverage. For those that does not really enjoy coffee, Babyccino is suitable as it doesn't have a storng coffee taste. They serve a variety of cakes each day to attract customers to visit the cafe more often. Palladium cafe is also famous for its yogurt desserts which is Baby Yogurt.
