Faculty of Caffeine located just at the opposite of Kotaraya is a cafe which serves a good plate of hearty brunch and good coffee ! They have just renovated their cafe so that this tight little space looks more spacious. It used to be quite squeezy. If you come during afternoon, you will see office workers walking into the cafe for their lunch break.
The food they serve fills up the people's stomach with a twist. They used waffles instead of bread ! As seen from the picture, it's a rather hearty plate with baked beans, hash brown, sautéed mushrooms, choice of ham/bacon and a sous vide egg. Not only that, the menu consits of snacks and other mains which is not the ordinary ones you often see in cafes. It is a cafe who mixes fusions of food creating it into the perfect combination.
Faculty of Caffeine has been on this street for 3 years and well-known for their good coffee. The owner of this cafe has high expections in coffee beans and is a coffee lover. Therefore, it is a good place for you to get a cup a in the morning or afternoon. If you're a huge fan of coffee, try talking to the owner he would love to share his knowledge of coffee origins with you.
