Sixth Station: Vanilla Bean - Coffee X Patisserie

Vanilla Bean is hidden jewel at Senibong Cove. It offer a safe haven for relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Although the capacity of the café is small but the ambience of the cafe was cozy and the setting of the cafe is simple yet classy. The aroma of coffee just leads us to enter the cafe. As we enter the cafe, there are various kind of freshly bake cakes and pies displayed in the shelf.

The pattisier told us that the quality of ingredient determines the kind of result you get from your bakes. Artificial ingredients should not be used because fresh natural ingredients coupled with a heart of baking is sufficient for making great cakes. They have a strict shelf life for all their cakes. All cakes are produced daily by the patissier at her little baking corner.

Their signature handcrafted home bake is this Strawberry Shortcake. The whipped cream of the cake was light and airy that dissolves in mouth. The sponge cake was really spongy and moist. Definitely the best strawberry shortcake in Johor Bahru area. They also serve great cup of latte by using high quality coffee bean that imported from Singapore.
