Twentieth Station: People & Places Cafe

People & Places café is opened recently and located in the inductrial area near Taman Mount Austin. It is a café that serves Melbournian Brunch, dessert and coffee. Before they announce their official opening, the place is already packed with people expecially on weekend.

The 2-storey high ceiling building is design with concrete layout, drapey plants and succulent furnishings completed the look of the industrial warehouse café theme.

We ordered the Mocha and was surprised by how smooth it was. The acidity level was also just right for us.

The must-have Signature Melbourne Hotcake . It's a buttery heavy dense blueberry butter cake served with double cream, seeds, nuts, strawberry and pea sprouts. Maple syrup added more refreshing light sweetness to the blend of buttery, sweet, nutty, and pea sprout green flavours.The surface of the hotcake is sugar baked and crispy while the inside of the hotcake is fluffy.

The friendly service here and the quality ingredients they used for their food proves that this place is more than just an Instagram worthy café. Yes, we will be back for sure.
